So the inspiration hit yesterday to take the Rocketeer quickie I did in the morning and make a large scale watercolor version. This is 8 x 22 inches. I couldn't get a good scan, so the best I could do was photograph it.

This didn't come out the way I envisioned. I should have used a better paper, like a watercolor paper. Strathmore's 9x12 bristol pads have proven inconsistent, especially when handling washes. Oh well.

Last of the Haiti Sketch Cards

6 months after the disaster, I have finally finished the last of the sketch cards going to those who donated to Doctors Without Borders to help with the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.
