Sketches for progressive charities

I need to do something. I need to get this sadness and frustration out in response to the results of this election. So here’s one way I’m going to try and do that, and hopefully do some good at the same time.

I will draw your choice of inspirational progressive person from history or today. (Strong women are especially encouraged.) Or choose an endangered animal of North America (list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_endangered_species_in_North_America) Come to me with your ideas and I’ll choose at my discretion. Here’s a few ideas to show you where I’m going: Hillary, Bernie, Obama, Elizabeth Warren, Cesar Chavez, Harvey Milk, Muhammed Ali, Cornell West, Toni Morrison, Langston Hughes, Amelia Earhart, Susan B Anthony, Eleanor Roosevelt, etc and so on. You see where I’m going with this.

If two people pick the same subject, I'll go with whomever is first and give the second an option to pick another.

The sketches will be 6x9, b&w, $45. I’m going to start with 10 and see what happens after that. I’ll try to do one a day during the week.

After shipping costs, all the money will go to progressive organizations like the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and an environmental group (like the NRDC or Sierra Club.)
