The hardcover edition of Breath of Bones: A Tale of the Golem, written by Steve Niles and Matt Santoro, with art by me, was released in the spring by Dark Horse Comics.
Jim Clark, Thomas Mauer, and I finally finished and released The Guns of Shadow Valley collected hardcover that we had funded through Kickstarter. It was the end of a long road.
Dark Horse printed and distributed a retail edition of Guns.
I illustrated a short story in the anthology Chutz-Pow. Each story was a true life event of a Pittsburgh resident who survived the Holocaust of WWII.
I finally got to be the artist on a full Godzilla min-series for IDW, written by Cullen Bunn. All five issues of Godzilla: Cataclysm came out this year.
And I got a new roommate, Ollie. He's a great buddy, when he's not destroying everything I own. Even when he is.
So basically, in 2014, I worked and worked and then worked some more. Even now, I am finishing all the commissions I owe, which will finally finish the Kickstarter that began in Spring of 2013. Huge thanks to everyone I had the fortune to work with, and to everyone who supported my work. I'm really proud of all I accomplished this year. I hope to do more in 2015, but I also hope I can look up from it once in a while and enjoy a bit of life. Only time will tell.
